JavaScript

This is my second blog using JavaScript.

This is another blog post. This is an update on my progress in the code called JavaScript. JavaScript is used to make commands on HTML coding and in other cases, used to make games. JavaScript has many cool commands, such as the one you will see here in this post. This command will change this paragraph and the one above it to something different. Pretty cool, huh? The more I practice JavaScript, the more complex my commands will get. With JavaScript, you can do some pretty amazing things. JavaScript is required my computer programmers to learn because of its usefulness in making websites as well as making basic games. In the near future I may have a game for you to play. So stay tuned to my blog!

That's all for now. Next post, I will talk more about the next type of code we will be going in depth to, CSS.

My First JavaScript Command (DO NOT CLICK The Shortcut Until You Are Done Reading Post)

I have made lots of progress over the past week! I have begun to learn different branches of HTML code, such as JavaScript and CSS. Those two forms of code are entirely different codes, but can be used in HTML. Last week was only used using basic HTML. This week's blog is using JavaScript in it. JavaScript is a form of code where you can do lots of things, such as make basic games or make shortcuts on your blog. In this blog I have made a shortcut to show you what time it is as well as the date. I haven't figured out how to let this text display as well as being able to see the time, so do not click the shortcut until you have read everything. Last week I talked about how this can give me a career. This can provide a very promising future for me. Google is hiring people straight out of high school because they are good at code. That means right out of high school, they make almost one hundred thousand dollars. That's lots of money. I hope to get a career in this field because i enjoy writing code. I hope to be hired by Google as a computer programmer. That's all I have for this week. Next week i will have CSS commands incorporated into the post as well as JavaScript.

20% Time Blog 2

My 2nd 20% Time Blog

This is my second twenty percent time blog. I am writing this in the first form of code I am learning, HTML. Very soon, I will begin to learn CSS code. CSS code is the second form of code that is used to make websites. The next form of code I wil learn will be a code called JavaScript. JavaScript is the code used to make basic flash games. Flash games are games that you can play on your computer without having to download anything. My final project for this project will be a basic game that you can play on the computer.
I will learn CSS for the next blog post most likely. CSS is the code that makes websites look very fancy. I most likely will not be able to make the blog into CSS because "Google Blogger" only allows HTML code. I will try and make a page in CSS code if I can. Next week, I will post a blog update about how this project could lead to a career in coding.

My Project

My 20 Percent Time
For my 20% time blogs, I am learning how to code. I am learning how to do this because it will be a very useful skill to have in the real world. My first blog will be in normal Microsoft Word Form, but my second blog will be in the form of HTML code. HTML code consists of commands. Later in the year, I will learn CSS coding which will make my blogs look like real websites. Near the end of the year, depending on time, I may know JavaScript or how to hack into basic things such as Facebook accounts or Google Accounts. This will be a very exiting journey for me to go through. I hope you enjoy watching my journey.
My 20 Percent Time For my 20 Percent Time project, I am learning code. In fact, I am typing this first blog post in HTML code. HTML code is the easiest form of code to learn. It consists of many commands in order to make things happen on a website. Many websites made today are used with HTML and CSS coding. CSS coding is a form of code I will learn later on in the year. My blogs will seem very bland at the beginning, but towards the end of the year they may look like real websites.
